Work Visas (H, L, O, P, Q, R)

If  you  want  to  work  in  the  United  States  in  the  presence  of  environments  within  the  status  required  to  obtain  a  visa  in  the  appropriate  category  depending  on  the  type  of  work  performed.  

There  are  different  types  of  visas  for  highly  skilled  professionals  in  specialized  areas  (H1B),  employees  who  are  temporarily  transferred  to  the  unit  in  the  US  (L),  athletes,  entertainers  (P),  persons  entering  the  United  States  to  participate  in  international  cultural  exchange  programs  (  Q),  religious  leaders  (R),  persons  with  extraordinary  ability  (O).  




All  applicants  applying  for  work  visas  must  have  a  petition  approved  by  USCIS.  Petition  to  Form  I-129  must  be  approved  prior  to  applying  for  a  work  visa  in  the  US  Embassy  or  Consulate.

Payment:  $  190  visa  fee;  the  visa  fee  depends  on  citizenship.  Citizens  of  the  Russian  Federation,  with  some  exceptions,  can  obtain  a  work  visa  for  the  period  indicated  in  their  petition,  but  not  more  than  2  years.

Documents:  You  must  provide  a  receipt  number  indicated  on  your  I-129  petition.  It  is  also  desirable  to  provide  the  consular  officer  a  printed  copy  of  your  petition.  In  addition  to  these  documents,  to  the  consul  will  be  important  your  answers  to  the  questions.  

You  can  also  provide  documents  that  prove  your  qualifications  to  work  in  the  specialty  and  the  type  of  work  performed  in  the  United  States.  For  example,  you  can  provide  resume,  a  letter  from  the  employer,  and  the  document  on  education.
