Visas for Journalists and Media Workers (I)

This  category  of  visa  (I)  is  intended  to  "representatives  of  foreign  media",  such  as  reporters,  camera  crews  and  editors,  as  well  as  those  of  similar  occupations  entering  the  US  to  carry  out  their  professional  activities.  

Photographers  this  type  of  visa  is  not  necessary  -  enough  of  a  B1  visa,  provided  that  their  activities  in  the  United  States  is  not  paid.




Payment:  $  160  visa  fee  and  visa  fee,  the  amount  of  which  depends  on  the  nationality  of  the  applicant.  Russian  citizens  are  usually  given  a  three-month  single-entry  visa  I.  Journalists  are  bound  for  long  trips  in  the  US  can  get  a  multiple-year  visa.  The  fee  for  the  issuance  of  non-immigrant  visas  to  Russian  citizens  will  be  charged.

However,  you  can  provide  any  documents  that  help  demonstrate  the  interview  purpose  of  your  trip,  the  presence  of  strong  ties  with  Russia,  as  well  as  confirmation  of  your  business  and  tourist  travel  to  other  countries.  For  example,  previous  passports,  documents  on  income  and  property,  copies  of  your  past  work.
